TELLURIC BLOOMS

All our papers are produced to international standards using specialty acid free process and materials to extract lignin. Principally agro waste and elephant dung along with other materials such as hemp, sunflower stalk, flower petals, sugarcane bagasse and waste cotton rags are used. For colored paper fast and natural pigments and dyes are used.

The sheets are formed individually by craftsmen using traditional hand moulds and deckles giving each sheet characteristic deckled edges and a strength that is a hallmark of our hand-made paper.

Each sheet is laid onto cloth felts and pressed to impart the gorgeous textures and inlays. Surface sizing with and slow open air drying of the paper complete the process.
